2. Eligibility
To enroll in our Services or make a purchase, you must be at least 18 years of age, or have the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. By using our Services, you represent that the information you provide during registration or enrollment is accurate, current, and complete.
3. Accounts and Registration
Certain Services require you to create an account or register for a course. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. SDC is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to safeguard your account information.
4. Courses, Enrollment, and Content
SDC offers courses in both online (live and/or recorded) and offline (in-person) formats. Course descriptions, schedules, curricula, durations, instructors, and pricing are published on the Website and may be updated from time to time.
We reserve the right to modify, reschedule, postpone, or cancel any course, batch, bootcamp, or seminar due to insufficient enrollment, instructor availability, or other operational reasons. Where a scheduled paid course is cancelled by SDC, affected participants will be offered an alternative batch or a refund in accordance with Section 6.
All course materials — including videos, presentations, documents, assignments, and other resources — are provided solely for your personal, non-commercial educational use.
5. Fees and Payment
Course fees are listed on the Website in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT/৳) and, unless otherwise stated, are inclusive of applicable charges. Discounted or promotional prices are valid only for the period stated and may be withdrawn at any time.
Payment must be completed through the payment methods made available at checkout or as otherwise agreed in writing. Your enrollment in a paid course is confirmed only once full payment (or an agreed instalment) has been received. SDC reserves the right to revoke access to any Service for non-payment.
6. Refunds and Cancellations
All courses offered by Skills Development Centre (SDC) are strictly non-refundable.
By making payment for any course, program, bootcamp, or seminar, you acknowledge and agree that:
- All fees paid are final and non-refundable under any circumstances.
- If a student drops out, discontinues, or fails to attend a course after enrollment, no course fee will be refunded, in whole or in part.
- By making payment, you agree to our Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
SDC does not guarantee any specific employment, income, visa, admission, or examination outcome, and no refund will be issued on the basis that such an outcome was not achieved. In the exceptional event that SDC itself cancels a paid course before it begins, affected participants will be offered a place in an alternative batch at SDC’s discretion.
7. Job Placement, Study Abroad, and Consultation Services
SDC may provide job-placement support, career guidance, and study-abroad or migration consultation. These services are provided on a best-effort basis. While we collaborate with industry partners and share opportunities, SDC does not and cannot guarantee employment, internships, visa approval, university admission, or any particular career or migration outcome. Final decisions rest with the relevant employers, institutions, and authorities.
8. Student Conduct
When using our Services, you agree to:
- behave respectfully toward instructors, staff, and fellow participants;
- attend classes and complete assessments in good faith;
- not disrupt classes, bootcamps, or seminars, whether online or offline; and
- comply with all reasonable rules, codes of conduct, and instructions issued by SDC.
SDC reserves the right to suspend or remove any participant who engages in disruptive, abusive, fraudulent, or unlawful conduct, without refund.
