Job Summary:

  • The Front Desk Executive cum Study Abroad Student Counselor will serve as the first point of contact for all walk-in students, parents, and visitors.
  • This role combines front desk management with student counseling responsibilities for study abroad and IELTS-related services.
  • The candidate must have strong communication skills, a welcoming attitude, and the ability to guide students through the study abroad journey—from inquiry to admission.

Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Front Desk & Customer Service

  • Greet and assist walk-in clients, visitors, and students in a professional manner.
  • Handle phone calls, emails, and online inquiries promptly and courteously.
  • Maintain a visitor log and ensure a smooth registration process.
  • Manage reception area cleanliness and ensure informative display materials are up to date.
  • Coordinate appointments for counseling, IELTS classes, and other services.

🔹 Student Counseling & Admission Support

  • Provide accurate information on study abroad opportunities (Australia, New Zealand, UK, Canada, etc.).
  • Counsel students on admission requirements, visa procedures, IELTS/UKVI registration, and scholarship options.
  • Maintain detailed student files and track their application progress.
  • Coordinate with partner institutions, agents, and the SDC Admissions team.
  • Support in organizing seminars, info sessions, and campus events.

🔹 Administrative & Marketing Support

  • Maintain daily inquiry and conversion reports.
  • Support digital marketing campaigns, events, and social media promotions.
  • Assist in maintaining office inventory, documents, and student databases.
  • Ensure all communication reflects SDC’s brand and values.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent communication skills (English & Bangla).
  • Pleasant personality with a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Basic knowledge of study abroad process (especially Australia, UK, and New Zealand).
  • Familiar with IELTS / IELTS for UKVI requirements.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
  • Strong computer literacy (MS Office, email, CRM tools preferred).
  • Team player with a positive and proactive attitude.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in English, Business Administration, or related fields).
  • Prior experience in student counseling / front desk / education consultancy will be an advantage.
