এটি একটি দক্ষতাভিত্তিক (Skill-Based) প্রশিক্ষণ কোর্স, যা ডিমেনশিয়া কেয়ার (Dementia Care) ক্ষেত্রে প্রয়োজনীয় জ্ঞান, দক্ষতা ও কর্মক্ষেত্রের মনোভাব (Workplace Attitude) গড়ে তোলার জন্য তৈরি করা হয়েছে।

এই পাঠ্যক্রমে অংশগ্রহণকারীরা ধাপে ধাপে নিম্নলিখিত বিষয়গুলোতে বাস্তব দক্ষতা অর্জন করবে —

কর্মক্ষেত্রে পেশাগত স্বাস্থ্য ও নিরাপত্তা (Occupational Safety and Health – OSH) নীতিমালা ও প্রক্রিয়া অনুসরণ করা
মৌলিক তথ্যপ্রযুক্তি (Basic IT Skills) দক্ষতা প্রয়োগ করা
কেয়ারগিভিং-এর মৌলিক নীতি ও নিয়ম ব্যাখ্যা করতে পারা
কেয়ারগিভিং-এ আইনি ও নৈতিক বিষয়সমূহ (Legal and Ethical Issues) বোঝা
প্রাথমিক চিকিৎসা (Basic First Aid) প্রদান করা
ডিমেনশিয়া সম্পর্কিত জ্ঞান ও বোঝাপড়া অর্জন করা
ডিমেনশিয়া কেয়ারগিভার হিসেবে কাজের প্রস্তুতি গ্রহণ করা
ব্যক্তিকেন্দ্রিক যত্ন (Person-Centered Care) প্রদান করা
ডিমেনশিয়ায় আক্রান্ত ব্যক্তির সঙ্গে কার্যকর যোগাযোগ (Effective Communication) রপ্ত করা

এই কোর্সের মাধ্যমে প্রশিক্ষণার্থীরা ডিমেনশিয়ায় আক্রান্ত ব্যক্তিদের সেবা প্রদানে পেশাদার দক্ষতা ও মানবিক মূল্যবোধে সমৃদ্ধ একজন দক্ষ ডিমেনশিয়া কেয়ারগিভার হিসেবে গড়ে উঠবে।

সময়কাল: ১২ সপ্তাহ (৩০০ ঘণ্টা)
শিডিউল: সপ্তাহে ৫ দিন,প্রতিদিন ৩/৪ঘণ্টা ক্লাস
কোর্স ফি: ১০,০০০ টাকা

Course Content

01. Apply OSH Procedure in the Workplace
- 1. Identify OSH policies, and procedures.
- 2. Follow OSH procedure
- 3. Report hazards, and risks
- 4. Respond to emergencies
- 5. Maintain personal well-being
02. Apply Basic IT Skills
- 1. Identify, and use the most commonly used IT Tools
- 2. Operate Computer.
- 3. Work with word processing software.
- 4. Use a spreadsheet to create /prepare worksheets
- 5. Use presentation packages to create/prepare a presentation
- 6. Print the documents
- 7. Use the Internet, and Access E-Mail
03. Interpret the fundamentals of caregiving
- 1. Interpret basic knowledge of caregiving
- 2. Interpret the roles, and responsibilities of a caregiver
- 3. Explain caregiving rules, and ethics
- 4. Ensure a safe working environment
- 5. Interpret communicable & non-communicable diseases
- 6. Interpret caregiver’s basic right
- 7. Enable caregivers
04. Interpret legal, and ethical issues in caregiving
- 1. Legal & ethical issues
- 2. Understanding client rights
- 3. The rights of the caregivers
- 4. Privacy, and confidentiality
- 5. Caregiver conduct-regulations, co-workers, and families
05. Carry out basic first aid
- 1. The accidental situations
- 2. Perform primary responses to the victim
- 3. Perform secondary response to a casualty
06. Acquire knowledge, and understanding of Dementia
- 1. Interpret Dementia
- 2. Assist in the early detection of Dementia
- 3. Assist to reduce the risks of Dementia
- 4. Explain living well with Dementia
07. Prepare to work as a Dementia caregiver
- 1. Prepare for Dementia care
- 2. Develop Dementia-friendly behaviours
- 3. Manage inconsistency, and incontinence
- 4. Maintain personal health, and hygiene (PHH)
- 5. Ensure time management
08. Provide Person-Centred Care
- 1. Prepare for Person-Centred Care
- 2. Explain premorbid personality
- 3. Provide support to activities of daily living (ADL)
- 4. Assist with cognitive skills and emotional wellbeing
09. Communicate to persons living with Dementia
- 1. Prepare for communication to persons with Dementia
- 2. Communicate to persons who have Dementia
- 3. Assist in Medication
- 4. Perform creative approaches to care for/manage behavioural, and psychological syndromes of Dementia (BPSD)
